It all started in Milwaukee on July 27, 2022, when two people on a dating app “matched” each other. Angela was in Milwaukee for a travel nursing assignment, and Keegan had just recently moved there for work. While neither of them probably knew it at the time, that little last-minute date was about to turn into something much bigger.

Angela’s nursing journey eventually took her away from Milwaukee, but that didn’t stop them. They kept finding excuses (and plane tickets) to visit each other whenever they could. Somehow, the distance only made them more determined to make it work.

When Angela moved to Greenville in 2024, things started getting a little more serious. Her and Keegan were seeing each other almost every month, and they quickly realized that a few days together was never enough.

In the summer of 2025, Angela spent the summer in Milwaukee with Keegan, soaking up plenty of Midwest time and making memories together. By October, Keegan finally made the big move to Greenville—and officially ended their long-distance era. (Packer was, of course, thrilled to have them both in the same city again.)

Then came July 17th. Keegan had an elaborate proposal plan in the works. There was just one problem: Angela was late getting home and completely foiled his master plan. So, in their true fashion, the plan changed—but the important part stayed the same. Angela and Keegan got engaged, and it was perfect.

Since then, they’ve continued building a life filled with the things they love most: their dog Packer, their Midwest roots, trying new restaurants and spots around Greenville, and—most importantly—their friends and family.

What started with a match in Milwaukee has taken them through travel nursing, long-distance visits, countless trips back and forth, a summer in Wisconsin, a cross-state move, and one slightly derailed proposal plan.

And now, they get to make it official.

Angela and Keegan can’t wait to celebrate the next chapter with all of the people who have been part of their story along the way.
